Proofing Gallery F.A.Q.

When will I receive the proofing gallery link?
Approximately 5-7 business days (during Spring and Fall, it may take longer). The proofing gallery will contain the best images from your session.

Will the images be edited?
A handful of Fotoplicity favorites will be fully edited. The rest will be "soft-edited". This means that basic color adjustments and cropping will be done, but detailed retouching and artistic edits will NOT be done.

How will I know what the final images will look like?
Your gallery will include a few completely edited images which will give you a good idea of what you can expect your purchased images to look like.

How long will I have to select my images?
You will have 48 hours to purchase your COLLECTION and two additional weeks to make your image selections. If you have a time constraint, please contact me ASAP so we can schedule a specific day for your gallery to go live. You will receive an email notification the day before your gallery release.

Will I be able to download the images from the proofing gallery immediately?
No. This is a "Proofing Gallery" and the sole purpose is to proof your images and select the ones you want. Once your selections are made and they are edited, you will be given a link to download them to your computer.

What if I want one or two more digital images than what is in my Collection?
Once you purchase your Collection, the Gallery Store will be updated and you will have the option to purchase individual digital files.

How much are additional digital files (post-Collection purchase)?
Add-On High Resolution Digital Files are $75 each. You get the best price for digitals through your Collection purchase.

What if I want to purchase prints or a canvas?
You will be able to purchase select prints and products directly from the Gallery Store after your Collection purchase.
BONUS: If you purchase finished wall art (frame or canvas) you will receive the corresponding digital file at no charge.

If I order a physical product, when will I receive it?
All purchased products will be ordered AFTER the final Collection edits are released. Prints take about 1-2 weeks, wall art can take 2-3 weeks and fine art or specialty products can take up to 5 weeks. International orders may take longer.

I really want to order wall art, but I'm not sure what will look good on my wall.

Why are the proofing gallery images watermarked?
The images in your gallery are PROOFS. They are only a representation of the final images you have or intend to purchase. The watermarks serve as a friendly reminder that the images are copyright protected and any screen-grabbing or copying of the images is stealing, and stealing is bad. Don't worry, the images you purchase will be edited to perfection and sent to you for download WITHOUT any watermark.

What if I want to see the images without the watermark?
Online proofing galleries are watermarked - no exceptions. If you wish to see them without a watermark, please schedule an appointment at the Fotoplicity Studio and I will show you un-watermarked images on my computer.
